About me

I have spoken English since I was two years old. Here is how it became my career.

    Surrounded by English

    I have been learning English since I was two years old. Long before I understood why, it was already part of my life.

    An exchange in London

    During school I did an exchange program in London. I lived with a host family and sat the Trinity exam while I was there. I had already taken every Cambridge exam up to B2 at school, and I later sat the English A exam from the International Baccalaureate. That exchange is when I knew English was more than a subject to me.

    A change of plans

    I thought I wanted to become a diplomat, so I kept studying English and sat the C1 Advanced exam in 2021. Then my path shifted. I ended up in business instead, and English is what opened that door.

    Fluent through work

    I started working remotely for companies based in the United States, and that is where I truly became fluent. I did not just learn the language. I learned how people work, how professions talk to each other, and how far English can actually take you.

Somewhere along the way, I realized I did not just want to use English anymore. I wanted to teach it.
